Ovarian Stimulation Process for Getting Pregnant

The ovaries in the female generally relieve one oocyte i.e. an egg over a monthly cycle. This process is also known as menstruation cycle. The woman starts to bleed and the eggs discharges from the uterus. Considering all the factors which have hindered fertility such as embryo plantation outside of uterus, fallopian tubes damage due to certain disease, severe surgery reaction, and weak sperm motility can contribute to failure of fertilization process. The infertility specialists suggest that stimulating ovaries are necessary to obtain more number of eggs through IVF process in getting pregnant. The stimulation can bring emotional changes in a woman and can cause emotional breakdown. The fertility drugs will be given to the woman that will bring change in their hormone level and more number of eggs would be easily retrieved. The sole reason to mature more number of eggs involves that IVF process of mixing egg and sperm can be damaged due to some reasons regardless of precautions taken by the embryologist. It is admonished to have more number of cells to make multiple embryos so if one fails, the other survives. This is the phase of conventional IVF process known as Ovaries Stimulation. The Ovaries Stimulation phase will be comprised of two weeks and daily injections and medications are a part of it. An infertility specialist will brief the patient on the required precautions and how it would be carried out.

Monitoring of Eggs’ Growth in IVF for Getting Pregnant

The infertility specialist will ask the female spouse to visit the clinic once in every day to monitor the growth rate of follicles in the ovaries. The follicles are sac like structure which contains eggs and dispose them when they are mature towards the fallopian tubes which carry them to the uterus. When the doctor recognizes that your follicles are increasing in size and have reached the stage of maturity, then he would ask you to take final shot. The shot will be higher in dose and in about a day or an a half, your eggs will be retrieved.

A catheter is used which looks like a slim tube and then inserted through the vagina until it reaches the uterus center. The embryo is then released in to it then slowly the implantation is done. If the embryo transfer remains successful then pregnancy begins within two to three weeks.
